Life happens
It's funny how 1-2 days turns into 2 weeks. Seems like I posted just the other day on here. Not much to report at the Ham house as of late.
Connor is doing a lot better. He still has his moments when he gets upset just like any other baby. The colic and reflux seem to be slowly fading, too. This weekend Candace and I have a lot going on, and have recently come down with some nasty colds that are apparently going around. The other night it felt as if I was swallowing nails, and now my head feels like it might explode whenever I cough. Connor is getting bigger and bigger as the days go by.
This weekend Candace has a bridal shower, and then we get to go to the Touch 'a Truck event to benefit Addi's Cure. Our good friend Bo has recently been release from Duke hospital after (2) double lung transplants to cure him of his stage 4 lung cancer, and this weekend marks the 2nd annual Touch 'a Truck benefit to raise money for their charity. It is nice to see the UNC is undefeated this year in football while NC State has yet to win a game. Also, App State looks just as strong as ever and could possible go for a 4th straight 1-AA National Title this year.
I recently also sold my Nintendo Wii. After all the excitement and hoopla I just never really enjoyed playing it, and the Wii Fit said I was fat. It had to go. A guy bought it off eBay and I ended up turning a little profit after it was all said and done. Not too bad after all. Xbox 360 is the only choice for me. Been playing a lot of Tiger Woods golf and the new Start Wars game. The new Star Wars game is the best version ever created by far. It allows more freedom and creativity than ever before. Candace hates it and calls me a nerd. I only hope Connor shares in my appreciation of the force.
