14 Weeks
So, Tripp is officially 14 weeks old. Let's see. He smiles, laughs, and follows us around with his eyes. He sucks on his hands like you wouldn't believe, but hasn't figured out how to just suck his thumb or a few fingers. He sticks the whole fist in his mouth. I think that he's starting to figure out splashing in the bathtub. He will sometimes kick his feet, but he doesn't realize how much fun it is yet. He's sleeping much less than he used to (day and night... not sure about that one). He's rolled over (but hasn't done it again) and he can hold his head up (when he wants to). He likes to look at the fire and thinks that the ugly light fixture in the living area is cool. He seriously laughs at it (so do I since it is so ugly). We're busier than we used to be. We go to Gymboree Music Class every week and he seems to enjoy that. We also go to exercise class which is starting to be twice a week next week (and boy do I need that).
We have an exciting few weeks coming up. We are heading home to NC on Friday for a visit. We are driving, so that should be a fun time. Roger and I are very excited to see friends and family. We hope to see as many people as we can. This next week will be jam packed with our usual activities as well as getting ready to go home. I've already been online ordering diapers, etc to be shipped so that we don't have to take up room in the car with huge boxes of that stuff. It will be tight as it is with baby gear. Who would have thought that having a baby would come with so much stuff!

Linda, they do have diapers at home, but I thought that it would just make it easier to just have them delivered (free shipping) so that we don't have to worry about going out and buying them once we are there. Plus, we need formula, more bath stuff, laundry detergent for Tripp's clothes (and ours). I have a coupon for diapers.com and like I said, free shipping. I'll all about making things easier!
