I am thinking...I need to get started on Christmas lists...so much to do, so little time.

I am thankful for...how helpful Charlie is being--from taking control of Lilly's baths to cleaning up the kitchen to picking up food for me on his way home from work--he's been a rockstar!

From the kitchen...I just had a 100 calorie bag of microwave popcorn

I am wearing...cookie monster lounge pants, a mickey mouse sweatshirt and pink and green striped socks. Fashion forward once again, lol!

I am creating...a photo book on snapfish.com for my parents

I am going...to take Lilly to her cousin's house at 4 and maybe go to the grocery store if I'm feeling ok

I am hearing...Sonny and Carly yelling at each other on GH

2) First, I'm really jealous you're seeing The Black Crowes. I saw them open for Tom Petty, and they were awesome!!

Outside My Window...I can see the orangy leaves on the trees and the grey sky. The leaves keep the sky from being too dreary.

I am thinking...more wondering how veggies would sit in my stomach. I'm hungry and broccoli sounds good, but I'm home with stomach issues.

I am thankful for...my husband and our one year of marriage.

From the kitchen...nada. Veggie beef soup tonight though.

I am wearing...sweats and a hoodie.

I am creating...my next embroidery project...I'll take pictures when I get a bit more finished.

I am going...back to work tomorrow.

I am reading...Uglies by Scott Westerfeld.

I am hearing...bad vH1 television. Celebreality fights.

Around the house...we're not as messy as we were, but we've got to fold clothes like it's our job!

One of my favorite things...my new laptop. The old one crapped out on me, but this one is really nice. I'll have to make a sleeve for it.

3) Outside my window it is getting dark already.
I am thinking I hope Richard doesn't fall out of his deer stand.
I am thankful for all the money we raised last weekend for our Rotary projects.
From the kitchen I am going to make tomato soup with milk. I'm sick and that's all that appeals to me.
I am wearing my pj's-I went out to do some errands but I had to come back home-to soon need to let the medicine work another day.
I am creating ideas for simple Christmas ornaments for my developmentally disabled adults to do for a fund raiser.
I am going to shoot my "friend" who spread her germs all over instead of going home like we asked her to. Now she says she's "sorry."
I'm only reading Humzoo, my eyes hurt from the fever and I don't feel like reading.
I am hearing my cat, Oprah purr. She has been my nurse.
Around the house I have two loads of clothes to fold and put away.
One of my favorite things is my new recliner. Its been the only way I can breathe and sleep.

4) Outside My Window...very rainy (I know--what's new it is Portland) and windy (not as usual)

I am thankful for...I have done all my Christmas shopping except for a few minor things

From the kitchen...I can hear the rain on the exhaust over the stove

I am wearing..soggy shoes, soggy clothes (I loathe coats)

I am creating...a recipe in my mind for my new cake pans. Amazingly I found a place to store them in the kitchen (you have NO idea!)

I am going...to work from home tomorrow and I'm thrilled. Our storm is here until Friday so it should be dry when I go to work on Friday--no soggy clothes!

I am reading...Adventures of Cavalier & Clay (recommend it), Before Green Gables, Crown of Swords

I am hearing...rain, wind, old movie on TV

Around the house...it could use some cleaning up. I've spent too much time playing with MacKenzie.

6) Outside My Window - It is damp and dreary, cold and miserable.
I am thinking- I want to go home to bed. I have a miserable cold.
I am thankful for: My job. Alot of people in my area are losing their jobs at an alarming rate.

One of my favorite things... Mia's chatter. "Ooooh!", "Oh-tay Mommy", and "I'm tummin!" are my favorites. On our trip when we pulled into a McDonalds, her whole face lit up and she said "Donalds, Mommy?" like it was Christmas or something. So cute!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Peter flies out Saturday. I need to pick up a few groceries and run to the bookstore and the library before then. Saturday the kids and I will do Christmas shopping for the cousins in Utah. Hopefully I can mail all their stuff, as well as stull for my brother-in-law in Atlanta, by next week. 8) Outside My Window...It's rainy and cool. And they are already talking snow flurries for the weekend.

I am thinking...I'd so much rather be at home cuddled up on the couch, but I should probably get busy working soon.

I am thankful for... The health of all those close to me. And all of the good things that I've got going on right now. I don't have a single complaint.

From the kitchen... I had Malt-O-Meal for the first time in years. And now it's time for my morning Coke.

I am wearing... My favorite Levis, a concert T, and a zip up hoodie. I love my office dress code (or lack thereof)

I am creating... 2 vb.net computer programs. One to track and report all of our employees' time off. The other a service call program to be used by about 10 of our employees as a central place to keep all incoming service calls and track them to completion.

I am going... to finish this post and then get busy working. After a night's sleep I think I've finally got a solution to a problem I was having with some code.

I am reading... A Million Little Pieces

I am hearing...Rain on the rooftop. Several of our guys chatting over coffee about the jobs they'll be on today.

Around the house... It's pretty clean for the most part. It could use some tidying up, but I've learned lately that there are more important things than having an immaculate house.

One of my favorite things... All the time I spend with my niece and nephews. I love to just sit and watch them and then to play in their world for a while. It's great to be completely carefree, even if just for an hour.
