Why do I do this to myself?

Between now and Saturday evening I have to accomplish the following:

Buy wings for Jessica (who is trick or treating for UNICEF)
Finish Sarah's costume (a hippie - still needs some hippie sunglasses)
Finish Reenie's costume (a princess - just a little sewing and buy a tiara)
Clean the house (dust, vacuum, mop floors)
Fold 5 loads of laundry and get them put away
Take the kids Trick or Treating tomorrow night
Get Sarah to Nutcracker rehearsal from 10-11 on Saturday
Get Jessica and Carrie to Choral festival by 11:30 on Saturday
Get Sarah back to rehearsal from 12:30 - 2:30 on Saturday
Pick up Jessica and Carrie at 3:30
Have them picked up by their dad at 4
Bake a cake at some point on Saturday and frost it
clean the house again (just straighten really)
Get Reenie to my mom's house for the night
Get decorations and food for Boz's b-day party (of course and fix the food)
Go to the liquor store (Mojito's anyone?)

and then - I finally get to stop (after taking a shower of course) and relax and enjoy being child free for the evening!

2) I'm thinking if you do the liquor store first, the rest will go more smoothly.

3) LOL, Pam. Hang in there, Meg. At least the cake part can be done in steps at different times as you fit it in. :)

6) I'm with Dannie - I'd be doing some delegating or a couple of those To Dos for the older ones would be To Don'ts! I'm sure they're strong enough to sweep, mop, dust and do some laundry, right?

Oh, and Pam TOTALLY has the right idea, too! LOL

7) The oldest helped me alot tonight - she has done laundry, swept the sunroom and the kitchen, cleaned the counters in the kitchen, put all the clean dishes away and in exchange - I took 10 min to put the red dye in her hair to cover her roots - LOL

We managed to go get her wings and Reenie's tiara (and a wand)

I just have to fold some laundry and vacuum and fix Reenie's costume and I will call it a night - Oh - after I mop the kitchen floor on my way to bed.

I think I will get the baking of the cake done tomorrow night after trick or treat time - that way on Satuday - all I have to do is make the frosting and put the whole thing together
