I celebrated by taking care of my child's every need, cleaning the house and making 3 square meals. I didn't get the memo.

11) Isn't equality what you want it to be and need it to be? Seems everyone did their part by being themselves and not being determined by others be it dress, attitude, or convention. It should be being paid the same for the same job but we all know that doesn't happen. Or being respected by some managers who seem to think guys know more and should be listened to more. NOT that I have a boss like that. :)

12) Makes me glad I don't have a boss anymore, and if you ask my kids who's in charge around here, it's a resounding "The Momma!" HA!! Oh, and I made dinner, as well, yesterday...and lunch and breakfast and two snacks.

13) I celebrated by bringing home take out. Sweet! The equal pay issue makes me boil. Also, I work with a lot of people in the construction industry and fabricators and sometimes I get some really awful comments. They assume that my vagina impairs my ability to understand how things are put together. It is very irritating.

18) LOl - i think it is funny - no apologies necessary - after all it is (was) Women's Equality Day and if men can talk about their penis and expect women to not cringe - well - we should talk about vaginas all we want!

19) I celebrated by working yesterday in a place that is male dominated. My vagina seems to threaten the balance and harmony in a place full of hardware.

21) I got to spend my day teaching teenagers and my night doing the dog and pony show for their parents. And I like to call her "my girl."
