Dresden

Almost anyone who knows me will tell you that I am not a dog person. But I have always loved Boxers. My mother in law is the director of the Mississippi Animal Rescue League so of course we would get a rescue dog and I have been patiently waiting for a boxer.

My patience has been rewarded.

Meet Dresden. The newest member of our family. Wish me luck in housebreaking her. We are going to crate train her.

3) She's beautiful! I'm really curious though, why did you name her after a German city? It sounds pretty cool, I'm just curious where you got the idea. You could get another and call it Hamburg or Leipzig.

4) So cute! She looks adorable. WHen I was growing up my grandparents raise boxers so they have a special place in my heart. They can be quite independent, good luck with her! I love her brindled coloring.

6) Wow, OK. Isn't there also a band called Ramstein? Also, a German guy that sings pretty heavy.....I forget his name now but he sounds like a German place too.

10) WOW!!! Beautiful brindle coat and white face and socks!!!! I lover her! Congratulations on you newest addition! We crate trained our Lab and I think that is the ONLY way to go. I have heard horror stories about furniture being destroyed and all kinds of stuff. We had ONE accident crate training her and no destroyed furniture. We did have a few of Matt's hats shredded. Our dog loves her kennel and will go sleep in it if she feels scared (thunder). Good Luck.
