Dave Hood and Mike Koltun, Fall 1978. Following a summer season with the Cellini Cubs, Bob Hull would throw us a party and hand out trophies for batting average, fielding, pitching, stolen bases and for being division champs. I am sure that Bob paid for these trophies out of his own pocket. He was a good man and I was saddened to learn of his untimely death6 Comments

1) Bob Hull was a strict teacher at Griffin high. I learned to love American History because of a course he taught on the American Presidency.
2) That was his brother Ron Hull who also coached Prairie Farms Dairy
3) No they both taught at Griffin. Ron taught math and chemistry. Bob taught History.
4) Yah, you're right
5) Ron coached Dairy Queen. I remember he took his team to the Little Leauge world series in Atlanta one year. Mike Parnell and Steve Cox were on that team. Cant remember who else
