Spousal Quirkiness

I love my wife for many reasons and even the weird ones have charm. We got her this laptop computer a few years ago and the label is still there....

The camera we got probably at least a year ago and likewise....

That's one way we differ: On my own things I can't stand these little labels and will peel them off straight away. She, on the other hand, seems to have this subliminal feeling that if the label is gone, the product will cease to function. Funny.

1) My dad was the exact same way with keeping the stickers on electronic items. Funny thing, I acquired my dad's laptop when he passed away, and all of the stickers were still on it. I felt guilty for a week or so when I took them all off. I'm over it now, though. :)

2) I keep the labels on my electronics as well. My laptop really bothers me because the label is getting worn, as that's where my wrist rests as I type. Oh, the blog Shoo could write about my quirks. It's funny the little things we don't realize we do until someone points them out to us.

3) I'm with you, George. The only way they ever stay on is if I think I might take the item back. Maybe that's it. Maybe she likes to keep the option to return until it falls apart with age. :)

4) I didn't know for the longest time that they were stickers that could come off! I just didn't think about it...I've picked off the stickers on one side of the laptop...but the right side still has 2 stickers

5) Sometimes they leave such a sticky mess I just prefer to leave them. My quirks would take more than one blog! Richard tells me I'm crazy in a chrming way and he often shruggs and says, +that's what I get for living with an artist." The weird thing is that I was a nurse for most of my adult life but I fel like the "real"me is now present:>LOL

6) I live with "one of those people" too, George. Drives me insane! Last time I pulled a label like that off of something I got read the riot act.

7) It doesn't bother me as long as its not something I have to use. If it is something we share then I'd have removed the labels long ago.

8) Labels such as those should be removed immediately in our house, but that Heinz ketchup bottle better be in the same spot in the fridge door or someone will pay!!

9) The label is still on our camera too. I never paid attention that it was just a sticker. I'll remove it now!

10) LG, tell Carrie that there's nothing wrong with any of that! JDI and Ames can confirm that Steve has never willingly removed a label or clear plastic film from anything that he owns. It's become so bad that every time I get something new, guilt plagues me when I peel off the stickers.
We won't even start on any of my quirks!
